Dalian Bus Stops Added to Google's China Map Service

Dalian Bus Stops Added to Google's China Map Service

Google has a pretty good map of Dalian that we use a version of on this site.  They've recently added bus stops across Dalian on the map, as well as stops on the Qinggui and train stations.  They're clickable, so by clicking on an icon all the bus routes serving the stop are displayed along with their destination.  See the screenshot for an example of these icons.

These bus stops are on both the Chinese language version of their Dalian map at ditu.google.com and the English version at maps.google.com, though the popup dialog box is in Chinese hanzi only.  Still, this has made getting around Dalian, and China in general, much easier!

The Google Maps API, which allowed the creation of the Dalian Map on this site is also updated with these links, but so far without the pop-up dialog boxes, but I might have a look at getting that functional here soon.
