China's Irish (and those who aspire to be so) converge in Dalian this Saturday for the All China Championships. First game starts at 8 a.m.

Location: Red Flag Football Park, Xi Shan Shui Ku (Opposite the Xi Shan Shui Ku) In Chinese: 红旗足球公园，西山水库 Getting there: 708 Bus stops there, near the end of its route. If you end up somewhere near a reservoir, you've gone too far. First game starts at 8 a.m., both men's and women's teams competing.

The hype is of a clean and professional club opening in Dalian. Foreign owned too, foreign not necessarily being a bonus, 'not scumbag owned' being all that's really sufficient to draw a crowd.



Grand Opening @ Club LOVE 1.25.2008

After many years of JD's and Daves, a clean, professional dj, top level serviced foreigner owned club has opened behind the Dalian Bohai Pearl Hotel.

We would like to invite all you party animals come down to the GRAND OPENING @ Club LOVE on the 25th of January. Ladies drink for free from 9-10 PM!

Christmas is as good excuse as any for a party!

Saturday 22nd, 7-9pm. Olive Garden Christmas Dinner (Roast Turkey, Pumpkin Soup, Mulled Wine, Salad, Mashed Potato and Seasonal Veg, Cake, Plus a large glass of Mulled Wine) - 80RMB.

Saturday 22nd, 7pm to late, Hopscotch with DJ Bob, DJ Manbow and DJ NoOnesHeardOfSki. Green Monster shooters (Vodka, Orange and Midori - not too heavy or sweet) at 5 kuai (if you've a better idea for shooters, please suggest in the comments, we could change it but they need notice to get stocks in). Want a better excuse than 5 kuai shooters?! That's 10 shooters for 50 kuai, 20 shooters for 100 kuai!
