This is the best meal I have had in Dalian - the aubergine and potato curry was delicious! English menu available. The nan bread is gigantic!

Green and Yellow

All I've tried so far is green and yellow curries, but they haven't left me wanting anything else. I dropped a good load of kuai last time I was there, though. Curry ain't cheap anywhere.

Curry-gasm.

I was quite impressed with this place. Was on my way to Igosso yesterday in a cab, when I saw the joint, and yelled at the driver to stop.

Had to give it a try, cause I'm seldom in that neighbourhood.
The place is clean, and when we were there they were playing what seemed to be a mixed cd with Jamiroquai and the Jackson 5. Excellent curry-eating music, if I do say so myself.

Me and my girlfriend got what I like to called the Abashi Christmas Special (i.e. one red and one green), a big' ol piece of nan bread, some rice, and a beer each. Came to 102rmb total, and I was left quite full.

Not bad at all.

Good curry, no complaints

Have to echo you guys.  I would like some more options in terms of types of curry, like Madras, Biryani etc. and more of the snacks that you would normally expect in a good Indian place (at least in England).  However what they do they do well, and I would recommend the nan highly.

It is actually a Japanese-owned chain, although the cooks seem to be Indian.  A bit like a typical Dalian BPO operation (japanese invested, key workers Indian, input monkeys Chinese).  A successful combination!

Good stuff

Good stuff, definitely worth a visit if you're craving Indian food! Love that naan! Went there twice, once last year before moving here and once after. Cost about 120 for two people with two curries, two naan, and two beers. I'd put that on the pricey side in a way but good quality stuff.

I miss the cheap Indian restaurant in Changchun...less than half the price :(

Nice

I like Abashi Curry to much. I am so happy that this place is also in Dalian. Even its little far from our university, I like to go there.. I have been there more than 10 times...even I am not working here..I am just medical student..
It is really nice and I love to have it always. Thanks for this!!!!

Clean, Good Service. English Menu, Very Good Food. Not good value for money, but seen in context of other western restaurants in Dalian, really good. Look to spend 50-60 kuai per person, for meal and a beer.

Regards,

Alastair
