Yum

This is the best meal I have had in Dalian - the aubergine and potato curry was delicious! English menu available. The nan bread is gigantic!

Green and Yellow

All I've tried so far is green and yellow curries, but they haven't left me wanting anything else. I dropped a good load of kuai last time I was there, though. Curry ain't cheap anywhere.

Curry-gasm.

I was quite impressed with this place. Was on my way to Igosso yesterday in a cab, when I saw the joint, and yelled at the driver to stop. Had to give it a try, cause I'm seldom in that neighbourhood. The place is clean, and when we were there they were playing what seemed to be a mixed cd with Jamiroquai and the Jackson 5. Excellent curry-eating music, if I do say so myself. Me and my girlfriend got what I like to called the Abashi Christmas Special (i.e. one red and one green), a big' ol piece of nan bread, some rice, and a beer each. Came to 102rmb total, and I was left quite full. Not bad at all.

Good curry, no complaints

Have to echo you guys.  I would like some more options in terms of types of curry, like Madras, Biryani etc. and more of the snacks that you would normally expect in a good Indian place (at least in England).  However what they do they do well, and I would recommend the nan highly.

 

It is actually a Japanese-owned chain, although the cooks seem to be Indian.  A bit like a typical Dalian BPO operation (japanese invested, key workers Indian, input monkeys Chinese).  A successful combination!
