Expat run bar located on Yan'An Lu, near the corner of Nanshan Jie (roughly between Abashi and the entrance to Dawai).
Wide selection of bottled beers, some draft, many spirits.
"Located in Dalian’s Zhongshan District on Yanan Lu between Nanshan Lu and Qiqi Jie, “Friends” is just a 3 minute walk from DUFL (DaWai) and just around the corner from the Qiqi Jie stop for the 403 bus.
We will feature an upscale look with a local pub feel – a perfect place for expatriates and the discerning Chinese to see old friends and make some new ones.
Amenities will include beer, wine, and spirits from around the world, bar and table seating for approximately 50 people, a downstairs gaming facility with attended pool table and darts area, good music at a reasonable volume, and lots of fun every night of the week!"

Nice place
Nice place, went there on a Saturday when they'd just opened and found a comfortable atmosphere and friendly people. The menu is limited, but I have to say the burger was great! Love to see bacon as an add-on option! When we left, it seemed like mostly an older crowd there having a good time. Very reasonable prices on the food side, but the drinks will definitely add to your bill! Of course, that's a bar for you!
Definitely worth checking out, especially if you are craving a decent burger (30 kuai to start, with potato wedges and cheese an add-on...one was 5, the cheese I think, and 10 for the wedges.....those drinks made my memory a bit fuzzy)!
