Include a Teacher Section?
Have you considered adding "Teacher/teaching" category? For teachers to share stories, advice, resources. I know this might degenerate into school bashing, but can be reconsidered if that happens. As part of my job I've generated a fair amount of activities for use in class, either for testing, use in TEM4 practice activities or just general class activities. Reading, listening, discussion etc. I'd like to have a place to share that. I'd have to be careful about copyright but there are somethings that I can publish and would like to get feedback on.

Added at
Added at http://daliandalian.com/teaching - just needs filling. I'd take the opportunity to add that anyone else that sees a need for a new section, or different way of doing something, stick in a question like this, most things are do-able quite quickly.
Maybe a wiki?
Personally, I'd love to see people in Dalian share information on which school around town should be avoided. But typically, having such information (invariably rants) out in the open on a website like this causes problems.
Maybe a closed forum? Or a private wiki?
Maybe even a closed 'invite-only' facebook group for Dalian's English teachers to share info with each other? Now that I think about it, that might be the best way.

@1rick I agree!
perhaps the section here can be more about the teaching rather than the schools? I certainly feel a bit in my own bubble, and would welcome share-sharealike attitude to activities.

Rantfest!
I just think it would be neat to have a closed area where people can openly warn other laowai about the dastardly deeds of local schools.
An invite only facebook group can definitely work. I wonder how many teachers are in Dalian?

It seems like we're talking
It seems like we're talking about two things which fall into 'teaching': Alastair: practical resources in terms of common tips of what to look out for, Rick: specific comments on specific schools.
What's appropriate for DalianDalian?
I think perhaps the rant fest type of thing should be consigned to services like Facebook, which the government is going to consider in aggregate, as opposed to somebody using some guanxi to block DalianDalian because they didn't like what someone said.
